The Department of Physics offers various double degrees to complete the training offered in the first and second years. These double degrees are decided during the year of M1 with the training managers. They consist of a full year spent in the partner institution followed by an M2 year spent half in each of the two institutions. They lead to the granting of a Master's degree in physics and an engineering degree from the partner institution.
The Politecnico di Milano, the ENS de Lyon, and the Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University have joined forces to offer their students a double degree in Physics and Engineering Sciences. An international training with the most prestigious engineering school in Italy, resulting in an original combination of fundamental research and advanced engineering in the fields of photonics, nanotechnology, and/or materials engineering. The École Centrale de Lyon, the ENS de Lyon, and the Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University have joined forces to offer their students a double degree in Physics and Engineering Sciences. This double degree allows students of the Physics Department to complete their training in fundamental research at the ENS de Lyon with more applied training related to business at the École Centrale de Lyon.
