The Student Journal of Physics and Chemistry (JPCE) is a publication edited by students in the Physics and Chemistry program. This student initiative is supported by the Department of Physics.
Presentation
The Student Journal of Physics and Chemistry is a collection of scientific articles written by students in the Physics and Chemistry program. The articles, written in French or English, deal with various topics in physics and chemistry. Here are some examples of papers in physics:
- Théo Moret, L’expérience CMS au LHC, JPCE, Issue 5, Jan. 2022
- M. Hibat Allah, An Introduction to Deformation Quantization, JPCE Issue 4, May 2021
- Raphaël Menu, Effet Seebeck, théorie et application, JPCE Issue 2, Dec. 2016
- Thomas Le Reun, La révolution scientifique n’est pas sortie de la lunette de Galilée, JPCE Issue 1, Feb. 2016
Recent issues of the journal are available online at the journal's website.
Valorization
Authors may write their articles as a result of an academic project or personal work. The publication of an article in the JPCE demonstrates a natural aptitude for disseminating scientific knowledge. It is authentic training in research. As such, its preparation is valued in ECTS credits, in the same way as a course, in the framework of the ENS diploma.
