How did you choose your programme in Physics ?

I enjoyed the courses in my first year, but I felt that the very theoretical physics was not for me. So I seized the opportunity to explore more applicative aspects in the biophysics course. I was not accepted in the general M2 at the ENS but finally, it allowed me to go and do an M2 in physical acoustics in Paris (co-validated by the ENS through the M2 "ouverture") which allowed me to redirect myself gently towards mechanics and acoustics, attached in France to engineering sciences.
