How did you choose your programme in Physics ?

After entering the ENS of Lyon, I quickly realized that I did not wish to continue in fundamental research. So I multiplied my professional experiences (start-up, administration, company) in order to find a path that corresponds to me and to prepare a file to take the administrative exams.

Once I entered the Corps des Ponts, I decided to do a PhD for my first job before starting to work in administration.

Message and advice to the current and forthcoming students

Non-research careers after the ENS de Lyon are rich and diversified. You have to be able to find internships on your own, but personally, I have always been welcomed. Don't be afraid to say that, thanks to your approach as a physicist, you will bring something extra.
